Which universities can students apply for places at Pokoje Studenta Wawa?
Students from all universities can apply for places in our private dorm. Please choose the location that suits your preferred standard or proximity to your university.
Do I need to come in person to sign the contract?
It is not necessary to come in person. The contract can be signed remotely. After contacting us, we will prepare the contract, which you can then send by post. If you wish to sign the contract remotely, please contact us by email.
Are there restricted hours for entering the building?
No. You can enter the building using a code. You may enter at any time, but please remember to respect quiet hours.
How long can I reserve a room?
Rooms in our apartments are usually fully booked by mid-August. However, availability depends on the number of students that year. When rooms are fully booked, we keep a waiting list.
Can I reserve a room if I am coming for an Erasmus exchange?
Yes, as a rule, we rent places for students arriving in the second semester, depending on availability.
Do I need to schedule an appointment to view a room?
Yes, please contact us in advance to arrange a viewing. Unfortunately, we are not always on-site, so if you arrive without an appointment, we may not be able to meet you.
What should I bring to the apartment?
We recommend bringing, first and foremost, bed sheets, duvet covers, pillows, cutlery, plates, a pot, a frying pan, and one trash bag.
When do I need to pay for rent?
At the beginning, you must pay the deposit and the first month’s rent before receiving the keys. After that, each month’s rent must be paid in advance by the 10th of the month.
Do I need to find a roommate for a double room, or will one be assigned to me?
You are welcome to move into a double room with a roommate of your choice if, for example, two people sign the contract together and wish to share the room. However, this is not required. You can sign a contract for a single spot in a double room, and we will assign you a roommate (this does not apply for summer rentals).
Can I make a reservation if I am abroad?
Yes, we allow contracts to be signed remotely for tenants who are abroad.
